WELFARE and health in tuscany: on july 5, SANT’ANNA school, ars toscana and OSSERVATORIO SOCIALE REGIONALE give an overview of regional health and welfare services in 2017

In Florence, on July 5, 2018, the Management and Health – MeS Laboratory of Sant’Anna School, Ars Toscana and the Osservatorio Sociale Regionale present the key findings of “Welfare e salute in Toscana” report 2017 (click here to view full agenda). The report gives an overview of integrated health and welfare services, health care settings results in better individual health and well-being, and quality of life for people with disabilities.

The report compiles the evidence of health impact of social welfare, and the beneficial health impact of receiving good services (in Tuscany) to achieve social sustainability and social inclusion. This joint report lists various social indicators designed to assess the implementation of the Tuscany Region public healthcare system to maximize the benefits of social sustainability for people. Indicators and other performance measures all exhibit the utility of this study to further the application of the development sustainability concepts. The report also cover policy, specialized services, quality assurance, amendable mortality, medical innovations and other topics that affect the delivery of health care services.
